Healthy weight loss for men and steroids.
Hey everyone,
Hope the holidays season is going well for you.
With the new year around the corner and getting in shape on everyone’s mind here’s an article that I found and copied that is worth taking a look.The fastest way to getting the buffed look is taking muscle building drugs or supplements,HGH human growth hormone, or steroids are the top 2 choice for body builders and athletes.
Here’s the details..
What are anabolic steroids?
Anabolic steroids are prescription drugs. They are the man made form of the naturally occurring hormone testosterone. When used under a doctor’s care, steroids can help people with AIDS and diseases that affect lean muscle mass. They also may be used to treat conditions like delayed puberty and impotence.
Use by athletes
Some athletes use steroids with the hope of improving performance. In the past, mainly body builders and professional athletes used steroids. Today, steroid abuse is seen in high schools and even middle schools. The truth is that steroids do not improve agility or skill. The medical dangers far outweigh the gains in strength or muscle mass.
Emotional effects
The full impact of steroids on behavior is not known. However, they can trigger:
* “Roid rage” (violent behavior).
* Intense jealousy.
* Anger and hostility.
* Severe mood swings.
* Hallucinations.
* Anxiety attacks.
* Paranoia (feelings of suspicion and mistrust).
* Depression and thoughts of suicide. Call 9-1-1 right away if you think you might hurt yourself or others.
Physical dangers
Steroid abuse can lead to serious health problems. Physical side effects in both men and women may include:
* Jaundice
* High blood pressure
* Liver and kidney tumors
* Blood clots, stroke and heart attack (even in athletes younger than 30)
* Internal bleeding
* Bladder and bowel problems
* Headaches, joint pain and muscle cramps
* Nausea and vomiting
* Trouble sleeping
* Ligament and tendon injuries
* Severe acne
* Fluid retention
Injection of steroids can also lead to infections with HIV as well as hepatitis B and C.
Side effects in men
Men who abuse steroids may have some permanent side effects. Because steroids cause the body to produce less testosterone, the testicles may begin to shrink. Steroids can also cause gynecomastia (enlarged breasts). In one study of body builders, more than half had these problems.
Other side effects include:
* Low sperm count
* Male-pattern baldness
* Impotence
* Enlarged prostate
Side effects in women
More women are abusing steroids than ever before. Steroids reduce body fat, but may affect female traits. Some of them can’t be reversed.
Side effects may include:
* Reduced breast size
* Coarse skin
* Loss of scalp hair
* Enlarged clitoris
* Increase in facial and body hair
* Deepened voice
* Menstrual problems
Teens and steroid abuse
It is especially risky for teens to take steroids. Even small doses can send a signal to the bones to stop growing. These children run the risk of staying at the same height for the rest of their lives.
No better way to screw up your body then putting this stuff in it.
Until next time keep working on your healthy weight loss.
