Breakfast Antioxidant Smoothie
Ingredients (Serves 1)
1 cup water
1 tsp chia seeds
¼ cup coconut milk
½ banana
1 handful spinach
1 handful raspberries
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp maca powder
1 tsp nut butter
1 scoop pea/hemp protein powder
1⁄3 tray ice
Method
Add water and chia seeds to the blender and let sit for 15 minutes for the chia seeds to go to work.
Add milk, banana, spinach, raspberries, cinnamon, maca and nut butter and blend well.
Add protein powder and ice and blend until thick but smooth. Add more ice if desired.
Pour into a jar and transport with you if required.

Mango and strawberry smoothie
Ingredients (serves 4)
PREP TIME 10 minutes
1 large ripe mango, flesh roughly chopped
6 strawberries, hulled and halved
1½ cups (375 ml) reduced-fat milk
300 g reduced-fat natural yoghurt
2 teaspoons honey or Splenda
2 tablespoons wheat germ
Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Divide among four glasses and serve immediately.

Green smoothie
Ingredients
» Handful of spinach
» Handful of strawberries
» 1 pear
» 1 banana
» 1 scoop organic vanilla protein powder
» 1 cup green tea (prepared as you would a cuppa)
What you’ll do
Throw all ingredients into a blender and press go. Pour into your favourite vessel – a Mason jar adds a nice sense of occasion, or tip it into a shaker to drink on the run!

Blueberry smoothie
Ingredients (serves 1)
1⁄2 cup natural yoghurt
1 teaspoon manuka honey
1⁄2 cup water
3⁄4 cup frozen blueberries
Method
Place all ingredients in the jug of a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
Note: You can also use a stick blender to make these smoothies.

Kiwi smash
Ingredients (makes 2)
3 medium frozen kiwifruit, skin removed, roughly chopped
1 cup baby spinach leaves
¾ cup coconut water
¼ cup water
½ cup ice cubes
1 tsp super greens powder or any other powder, optional
Directions
Throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
